Carol Castellano is co-founder and President of Parents of Blind Children-NJ (POBC_NJ) and 1st Vice President of the National Organization of Parents of Blind Children (NOPBC). Carol has presented training sessions for parents and teachers of blind children in NJ and nationally and writes frequently on the education and development of blind children. She is the co-author of The Bridge to Braille: Reading and School Success for the Young Blind Child, and author of Because Books Matter: Reading Braille Books with Young Blind Children. Her latest book, Making It Work: Educating the Blind/Visually Impaired Student in the Regular School, was published in June.
