SHOW NIGHT CHECK LIST:

Due to the fact we are recording our shows as we broadcast live you may receive a call from our studio anywhere within a half hour window of your shows 'start time'. Do not be concerned if you don't hear from us right away. It may be that the show before you is running late and we are forced to call you later then expected.
Your show host should have instructed you when you will receive a phone call from our studio to prepare for your interview. If he/she did not, please call your Show Host. We will be calling the phone number you supplied in the GUEST FORM you just submitted. (Please use a wired phone NO CELL OR CORDLESS PHONES). You MAY have been instructed that our studio will call you 15 before airtime. THIS MAY NOT BE THE CASE. If a show before yours is late we may call you up to 1/2 hr later then you expect. Please wait for our call and DO NOT call us!

When we call you our Director will immediately place your call into our control room where you will receive additional instructions from our audio engineer. If time permits he will explain how things will work. You will me MUTED until you are actually being interviewed.

SKYPE: If you indicated that you will be participating via video on Skype PLEASE WATCH ON YOUR SKYPE FOR A 'CONTACT ACCEPTANCE" FROM WTOERADIO. We must make Skype contact with you well in advance of the show. Once contact details have been shared you should contact your show host and have him/her verify your audio/video quality. The timing as stated above applies to Skype users as well! PLEASE RE-BOOT YOUR PC/MAC IN ADVANCE OF THE SHOW AND PRE TEST YOUR MICROPHONE AND CAMERA. Additionally, make sure you are framed correctly in your camera view (to much headroom / equal room both to your left and right), your room lighting is sufficient AND YOU ARE USING (A MUST) HEADPHONES. And thank you for deciding to use video!

IMPORTANT: If at any time during your interview the phone / SKYPE connection should disconnect please wait for our studio to call you back! Do NOT call us!
