Why Register At Our Site?
We at ThruOurEyes.org are interested in supplying the blind and visually impaired with important and informative AUDIO AND VIDEO programming. We are a small New Jersey Chapter of the National Federation Of The Blind with no outside resources to assist us with obtaining such information. We are committed to supplying extensive audio programming for the blind and visually impaired. We must rely on our chapter and site members' knowledge and experiences to guide us as to programming, products and services and general information which would be helpful to all.
By becoming a member at ThruOurEyes.org and filling out our short survey, your information gives us some insight as to who visits our site, if they or someone they know is blind or visually impaired: if they use third party software to access the internet and, more importantly, our site; as well as geographical information so we may better design and produce our website's audio / video programs.
Producing our Radio and Television Shows take a bit of doing and rely on a large number of people to complete. To make it worthwhile for these participants as well as our site visitors, we feel a registration process with limited questions is both critical and necessary.
Taking a minute to REGISTER is all we ask and a small price to pay to help us help each other. The limited information you supply stays with us and is not shared with anyone. Your email address is NOT used for any other purpose then to inform you of updates to our site via our eNewsletter. This eNewsletter is ONLY sent out periodically, when significant updates are made and you are ALWAYS given the option within every eNewsletter to unsubscribe and stop receiving any emails from us. Please read our 'PRIVACY POLICY' for further information.
